Overview
The Gauḍa Kingdom was a classical period kingdom in the Indian subcontinent, originating in the Gauda region of Bengal, which encompasses modern-day West Bengal and Bangladesh. Founded around the 4th century CE, or possibly earlier, it existed until its dissolution in 626 CE.
