Overview
Gandhāra (Sanskrit: गन्धारः, romanized: Gandhāra) Pali: Gandhāra) was an ancient Indo-Aryan kingdom of northwestern Indian Subcontinent whose existence is attested during the Iron Age. The inhabitants of Gandhāra were called the Gāndhārīs.
