Overview
The Blue Horde was a Mongol horde that formed a crucial component of the Mongol Empire after Genghis Khan's demise in 1227. It was established around 1360 CE and dissolved in 1395 CE. Functioning as the eastern part of the split Golden Horde, it controlled the western territories of the Golden Horde, contrasting with the White Horde's western segment. The Blue Horde adhered to the Mongolian and Turkic tradition of cardinal direction colors.
