Overview
The Duchy of Kuyavia was a district principality in Central Europe, established in the region of modern-day Kuyavia during the 13th century. It was created following the inheritance of the Kingdom of Poland in 1138, which led to the division into partial duchies as per the will and testament of Duke Bolesław III Wrymouth. This Polish duchy existed from approximately 1230 to 1267.
