Overview
The Duchy of Prussia, also known as Ducal Prussia, was a historical state established in 1525. It was formed in the region of Prussia through the secularization of Monastic Prussia, a territory previously controlled by the State of the Teutonic Order until the Protestant Reformation. The duchy existed until its dissolution in 1618.
