Overview
Frisia is a cross-border cultural region located in Northwestern Europe, encompassing the north of the Netherlands and parts of northwestern Germany. It stretches along the Wadden Sea, and wider definitions may also include the island of Rem and other Danish Wadden Sea Islands. The region is traditionally inhabited by the Frisians, a West Germanic ethnic group.
